The DGSSI has a division dedicated to conducting studies and research in areas related to cybersecurity, particularly within the framework of theses prepared in collaboration with national and international universities. The objective is, on one hand, to propose innovative solutions based on the feedback from monitoring activities in scientific research and, on the other hand, to contribute to open research in information systems security by publishing their results in specialized journals and conferences.
To this end, the DGSSI conducts academic research activities in areas such as cryptography, intrusion detection, and electronic exchange security.
